Now Available as part of the n8n Ecosystem
Following the release of our Node.js SDK last week, we’ve added a community node for Velatir on n8n.
n8n is a solid choice for developers and small teams building automation workflows, and getting Velatir in there has been on our list for a while. This new node makes it easier to try Velatir in your own workflows, especially if you're looking for a more flexible take on Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) automation.
Why chose our node?
n8n offers basic HITL functionality, but it’s usually tied to specific channels like email or Slack. That means reconfiguring every workflow individually whenever you want to add a review step, and managing those steps separately.
Velatir’s node handles this differently. It gives you a centralized approval layer that works across workflows and channels, with:
- Customizable rules, timeouts, and escalation paths
- One integration point, no need to duplicate HITL logic across workflows
- Full logging and audit trails (exportable, non-proprietary)
- Compliance-ready workflows out of the box
- Support for external frameworks if you want to standardize HITL beyond n8n
Why It Matters
If you’re dealing with reviews, compliance checks, or other human-in-the-loop scenarios, Velatir helps turn a scattered setup into something more maintainable. One interface, one source of truth—no matter where your workflows live.
We’ve also submitted the docs for Velatir to become a built-in, verified node in n8n. Once that’s live, setup will be even smoother.
